Making a book

Yoshioka’s bookmaking process includes backing silk or cotton cloth with paper, preparing boards, folding the cloth around the edges, and pressing and drying the covers.

A book in preparation

A new book is in preparation, tracing his visits to scientific research facilities through photographs and words. The Japanese working title is 見えないものが、風景になるとき — When the invisible becomes a landscape.

Photography workshops in planning

Workshops focused on looking at, interpreting and discussing photographs are being planned. Dates and details have not yet been announced.
